Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Search Engine Optimization Specialist to execute, research, and continuously improve organic search performance for WordPress and SaaS products. The role is focused on practical SEO execution rather than people management, working closely with content, product, design, and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research for blogs, landing pages, and product pages and analyse search intent.
• Optimize titles, headings, metadata, internal linking, and overall page structure.
• Review existing content, recommend improvements, and ensure SEO‑ready copy before publication.
• Perform regular SEO audits, monitor indexing, crawlability, and resolve technical issues.
• Investigate ranking changes, traffic fluctuations, and track competitor gaps.
• Research visibility on AI‑driven platforms such as ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Gemini, and Bing Copilot.
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) for keyword exploration, content analysis, and workflow efficiency while validating recommendations.
• Track performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4, reporting on keyword rankings and organic traffic.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills and a passion for data‑driven optimisation.
• Comfortable collaborating across content, product, design, and development teams.
• Proactive in staying up‑to‑date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging AI search behaviours.
• Ability to validate AI‑generated suggestions and maintain high quality standards.
