Security & Risk Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Security & Risk Manager to lead the security, safety and risk management operations at Crowne Plaza Kathmandu Pulchowk. You will create a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests, colleagues and hotel assets while ensuring compliance with IHG and local standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall security, safety and risk management activities across the hotel.
• Review security reports, incident logs and shift handovers to identify risks and corrective actions.
• Conduct daily briefings with security supervisors on operational priorities, VIP arrivals and events.
• Develop and implement security, emergency response and risk management procedures.
• Perform regular risk assessments and security inspections of guest areas, back‑of‑house zones, access points and parking facilities.
• Coordinate with police, fire services and other authorities for emergency response.
• Investigate security incidents, accidents, thefts and losses, ensuring proper documentation.
• Work with HR and department heads on colleague safety, investigations and emergency preparedness.
• Manage security manpower deployment for daily operations and major events.
• Oversee access control, key control, CCTV monitoring, visitor management and contractor access systems.
• Plan and conduct emergency drills and training for fire, medical and natural disaster scenarios.
• Monitor compliance with hotel, IHG and local safety regulations and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security, safety and risk management operations in a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong ability to work with local authorities and emergency services.
• Excellent investigative and reporting skills.
