Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to lead the accounting and financial operations of our dairy manufacturing business. The role requires strong knowledge of taxation, VAT, and the ability to manage a team while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and financial transactions.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ledgers, reconciliations and reports.
• Handle VAT, TDS, income tax and other statutory tax requirements, ensuring timely filings.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable, billing, collections and payments.
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting in a manufacturing/dairy environment.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax authorities and suppliers.
• Prepare budgets, cash‑flow reports, management reports and other financial analyses.
• Supervise and guide the accounts/finance team.

Required profile

• Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in accounting, preferably in manufacturing or dairy industry.
• Strong knowledge of taxation, VAT, TDS and statutory compliance.
