Senior Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect the organization’s systems, networks, and data. You will work closely with the SecOps team and other departments to embed security into business processes and technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption tools.
• Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, scans and penetration testing to identify risks.
• Lead incident response, investigation and resolution for security breaches.
• Develop, review and update security policies, guidelines and procedures.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend solutions to improve the security posture.

Required profile

• 3-6 years of experience in security engineering, cloud infrastructure or cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, security controls and industry best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS and encryption tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and familiarity with software development frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
