Software QA Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications and data systems. The role combines manual and automated testing, test documentation, and data validation while collaborating closely with engineering and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly test feature updates, bug fixes, and user stories before release.
• Perform automated testing across applications.
• Author, review, and maintain clear test cases based on ticket requirements.
• Execute functional, black‑box, white‑box, ad‑hoc, exploratory, and smoke testing.
• Plan and run full manual regression test suites prior to each scheduled release.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and end users to understand requirements and validate solutions.
• Conduct UI‑based testing, including click‑through and workflow validation.
• Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and backend consistency.
• Support performance testing initiatives and use TestMo for test management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Excellent client‑facing communication skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD‑integrated testing workflows.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Required skills

• Manual and automated testing.

• SQL for data verification.
• UI testing and user‑flow validation.
• TestMo (or similar) test‑management tools.
• Performance testing tools (preferred).
• Selenium, TestCafe or similar automation frameworks (plus).
