Business Development Officer – Healthcare

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Officer to drive growth within the healthcare sector in Kathmandu. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building corporate partnerships, and promoting software/ERP solutions to healthcare organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the healthcare market.
• Establish and maintain tie‑ups with corporate houses, organisations, and relevant institutions.
• Build strong relationships with HR professionals, decision‑makers, and key stakeholders.
• Generate leads through networking, market visits, referrals, and professional connections.
• Promote and sell healthcare‑related products, services, and ERP solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and follow‑ups.
• Manage the full business development cycle from lead generation to closing.
• Research market trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams for smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
• Maintain an updated sales pipeline and prepare regular development reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Prior experience in Business Development or Sales, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Experience in software/ERP sales is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare market and an established professional network.
• Proven relationships with HR professionals and corporate clients.
• Experience in corporate tie‑ups, partnerships, and client acquisition.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Target‑oriented, proactive, and self‑motivated.
