Director of Sales and Business Development

About the role

Pixel Media & Multi-Media Training Academy is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales and Business Development to lead revenue growth for its training programs and creative services. Based in Kathmandu, this full‑time, on‑site position will shape the academy’s sales strategy across local and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans targeting corporate, institutional and partner clients.
• Oversee end‑to‑end sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting and performance tracking.
• Lead, mentor and set targets for the sales team, ensuring alignment with marketing and service delivery.
• Negotiate high‑value contracts and collaborations, maintaining long‑term client relationships.
• Monitor industry trends, represent the academy at events, and provide regular reports to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of experience in sales, sales operations or business development.
• Proven ability to manage and coach high‑performing sales teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience in education, training, media or creative services is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills in a multicultural environment.
