National Sales Manager – Dairy Industry

About the role

The National Sales Manager (Dairy Industry) will lead nationwide sales operations for dairy products, driving market share and revenue growth. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Kathmandu and involves frequent travel across Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies, set targets and monitor performance across regions.
• Manage key accounts, build long‑term relationships with distributors and institutional customers.
• Coordinate with production, logistics and marketing teams to align supply and demand.
• Guide, mentor and coach the sales team, conduct regular field visits and performance reviews.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities and prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
• Optimize budgets, support promotional activities and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of proven FMCG/Dairy sales experience, including at least 3 years in a senior sales management role.
• Strong business planning, strategic sales management and account management capabilities.
• Demonstrated team leadership, coaching and motivation across multiple regions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Dairy Technology or related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Solid understanding of the dairy market dynamics and regulatory landscape in Nepal.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills, with proficiency in sales reporting and CRM tools.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kathmandu and travel domestically as required.
