About the role
The Procurement Officer will be based in Kathmandu and work full‑time on‑site. The role is responsible for managing the complete procurement cycle, from supplier identification to contract finalisation, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, request and assess quotations.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in line with internal controls and company policies.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing and service levels with vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance, track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, invoices and reports using the Oracle ERP system.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and support cost‑analysis activities.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree completed.
- Valid driving licence.
- Strong skills in end‑to‑end buying processes, purchase order management and contract negotiation.
