Remote Nurse Subject Matter Expert (Hourly Contractor)

About the role

This is an hourly, remote contractor position where you will act as a General Nurse Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will review AI‑generated nursing and clinical‑care responses, create expert healthcare content, and provide precise written feedback to improve AI model accuracy and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by creating detailed prompts and gold‑standard answers across nursing care topics such as assessment, triage, safety, education, and documentation.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance accuracy, clarity, safety, and contextual relevance.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, unsafe guidance, and bias, ensuring reliability across use cases.
• Fact‑check healthcare information and write high‑quality explanations and model solutions that demonstrate correct clinical reasoning.

Required profile

• RN (or equivalent nursing qualification) with active licensure/registration (or eligibility) in at least one jurisdiction.
• 3–5+ years of professional nursing experience in a clinical or community setting.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, including vital signs interpretation, red‑flag recognition, escalation pathways, and safe handoffs.
• Excellent attention to detail for fact‑checking and identifying unsafe assumptions.
• Reliable, self‑directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in a remote, hourly workflow.
