Sales and Marketing Director

About the role

Ghum Nepal, a leading player in Nepal’s tourism and hospitality sector, is looking for an experienced, strategic, and results‑driven Sales and Marketing Director. You will shape and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to grow market share, boost brand visibility, and drive revenue across the competitive tourism landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated sales and marketing plans aligned with corporate objectives, setting clear KPIs and growth targets.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve targets while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Identify new market opportunities, negotiate contracts with tour operators, travel agencies, and corporate clients.
• Conduct market research, analyze competitor strategies, and monitor customer trends to inform tactics.
• Design and execute multi‑channel marketing campaigns, oversee content creation for web and social platforms, and manage participation in trade shows.
• Maintain consistent brand messaging, position the company as a leader in sustainable tourism, and oversee online reputation management.
• Track performance metrics, generate ROI reports, and present insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, customer service, and product development teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior sales and marketing roles, preferably within tourism, hospitality, or travel sectors.
• Strategic thinker with a strong track record of achieving revenue growth.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating teams and managing key partnerships.
• Data‑driven decision maker comfortable presenting performance results to stakeholders.
