Automotive Sales Consultant

About the role

The Automotive Sales Consultant is responsible for driving vehicle sales by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable automobile options. This role serves as the primary liaison between the dealership and customers throughout the entire sales journey, from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery and after‑sales follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist showroom visitors, assess their vehicle requirements, budget, and lifestyle.
• Provide detailed explanations of vehicle specifications, features, pricing, financing, insurance, and warranty options.
• Generate new leads through walk‑ins, phone calls, referrals, digital channels, events, and roadshows, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Conduct professional vehicle presentations, arrange test drives, and demonstrate key technologies and safety systems.
• Follow up with prospects, nurture relationships, and convert leads into sales while meeting assigned targets.
• Record all customer interactions and lead information accurately in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive sales or a related sales environment.
• Full‑time availability with a strong customer‑service orientation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and achieve sales targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software for tracking leads and customer information.
