Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive growth for Safa Tarkari by identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with institutional customers such as hotels, restaurants, resorts, and offices. The role focuses on expanding the customer base, promoting fresh produce, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Visit prospective and existing clients regularly to understand their requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotels, restaurants, resorts, offices, and other institutional customers.
• Promote Safa Tarkari’s fresh produce and services to potential customers.
• Generate leads, conduct follow‑ups, and convert prospects into clients.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and business presentations when required.
• Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
• Maintain regular communication with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of client visits, leads, follow‑ups, and sales activities.
• Prepare regular sales and business development reports.
• Handle customer feedback and coordinate for timely resolution of issues.
• Perform other duties related to business development and sales as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development or sales.
