Business Manager – Small Commercial Vehicle & EV Automobile

About the role

The Business Manager will drive commercial performance for small commercial vehicle and EV automobile operations within a manufacturing environment. This hands‑on role requires coordination across sales, production, procurement and logistics to meet market and production pressures.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end business coordination for small commercial vehicle and EV automobile commercial activities linked to manufacturing.
• Monitor sales pipeline, customer inquiries, quotations and order follow‑ups to ensure timely conversion.
• Coordinate with production, procurement and logistics to align delivery schedules, inventory availability and service readiness.
• Track and report key commercial metrics such as leads, conversion rates, order book, delivery performance and warranty signals.
• Manage distributor/dealer and channel partner performance, including target tracking, pricing discipline and supply follow‑through.
• Ensure documentation and compliance for commercial transactions and audit readiness.
• Support product promotion activities, campaigns, customer meetings and field feedback collection.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in business management, sales/operations coordination or commercial roles within manufacturing or automotive/EV value chains.
• Proven ability to manage stress, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under peak production cycles.
• Strong multitasking capability across customers, orders and internal coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP or inventory/order management systems.
• Business reporting and basic analytics.
• Working knowledge of EV/automobile commercial processes (lead‑to‑order, delivery coordination, post‑sale follow‑up).
