Credit Analyst – Mortgage Brokerage

About the role

Alaya is seeking a Credit Analyst to support mortgage brokers throughout the assessment and submission lifecycle for the Australian home‑loan market. The role focuses on detailed file reviews, compliance checks, and preparation of preliminary assessments to ensure smooth loan processing.

Key responsibilities

• Review client files once all forms and required documents are received.
• Contact lenders to verify client eligibility and identify suitable loan structures.
• Prepare preliminary assessments and application forms prior to submission.
• Check lender requirements, flag missing documents, and liaise with brokers, loan processing specialists, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide post‑submission and post‑settlement support to ensure continuous file progression.
