DM Plant & Blending Operator

About the role

The DM Plant & Blending Operator will be responsible for operating the demineralisation (DM) plant, ensuring water quality, and executing blending activities in accordance with approved formulations and standard operating procedures. This position supports the production of high‑quality spirits at Sagar Distillery.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the DM plant and monitor water quality as per SOPs.
• Conduct quality checks and monitor chemical/consumable levels.
• Perform pre‑operation checks and report equipment maintenance needs.
• Execute blending activities following approved formulations and SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and housekeeping of blending areas and equipment.
• Monitor spirit storage conditions and report operational concerns.
• Maintain accurate operational, quality, stock, and usage records.
• Support ISO compliance, documentation, and coordination with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Required profile

• Intermediate/+2 or Bachelor’s degree in Science, preferably Chemistry.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in liquor, beverage, food processing, or manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of DM plant operation, water‑quality monitoring, blending, and production processes.
• Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment.
