Finance Manager – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead day‑to‑day finance and accounting operations within a manufacturing environment. The role involves overseeing financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily finance and accounting activities, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes with accurate MIS reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and fund utilization.
• Maintain product costing, bill of materials and standard costing; perform variance analysis on material, labor and overhead.
• Analyze production costs, wastage and product profitability; ensure correct valuation of raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts; track performance against budget and recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee inventory reconciliation, physical stock verification and ensure compliance with NFRS, VAT, tax and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks and regulatory authorities; strengthen internal controls and financial governance.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of post‑CA experience in a manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting and financial reporting.
• Hands‑on experience leading a small finance and accounts team.

Required skills

• ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Odoo or similar.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI or financial dashboards (preferred).
