About the role

The company is hiring a Junior Accountant in Birgunj with a salary of 20 to 25k.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain day-to‑day accounting records and financial transactions.
  • Prepare and verify purchase, sales, payment and receipt entries.
  • Handle cash, bank and petty cash transactions.
  • Assist in preparation of invoices, vouchers and supporting documents.
  • Maintain proper filing and accounting documentation.
  • Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
  • Support inventory and stock‑related accounting activities.
  • Assist in VAT, TDS and other statutory compliance work.
  • Support monthly reporting, audit and other accounting requirements.
  • Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Commerce or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
