About the role
The company is hiring a Junior Accountant in Birgunj with a salary of 20 to 25k.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain day-to‑day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and verify purchase, sales, payment and receipt entries.
- Handle cash, bank and petty cash transactions.
- Assist in preparation of invoices, vouchers and supporting documents.
- Maintain proper filing and accounting documentation.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Support inventory and stock‑related accounting activities.
- Assist in VAT, TDS and other statutory compliance work.
- Support monthly reporting, audit and other accounting requirements.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Commerce or related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
