Legal Trainee

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Legal Trainee to support our in‑house legal and compliance functions. This position offers aspiring legal professionals practical exposure to corporate law, regulatory compliance, contract management, data privacy, and software product compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the legal team with day‑to‑day in‑house legal support.
• Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in different jurisdictions.
• Support the review, drafting, proofreading, and management of contracts, agreements, policies, and legal documents.
• Maintain legal documentation and contract records.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments that may impact the business.
• Support compliance initiatives related to data protection, privacy, consumer protection, and software product regulations.
• Help develop, review, and maintain internal legal and compliance policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with product, technology, finance, HR, and operations teams to address legal and compliance matters.
• Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions.
• Assist with intellectual property documentation, including trademarks and copyrights where applicable.
• Prepare legal summaries, reports, presentations, and compliance documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
