People Operations Associate

About the role

EB Pearls is looking for a motivated People Operations Associate to support the day‑to‑day administrative and operational functions of the People Operations department. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee engagement and development, and works closely with the People Ops Manager to ensure smooth execution of HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in end‑to‑end recruitment, including job analysis, sourcing, screening, selection and onboarding of new hires.
• Facilitate onboarding and off‑boarding processes to ensure smooth transitions.
• Support employee engagement initiatives such as events, surveys and morale‑boosting activities.
• Provide clear communication on company policies, answer employee queries and distribute policy materials.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and generating reports.
• Assist in performance‑management cycles, updating metrics and supporting reviews.
• Coordinate compensation and benefits administration, including payroll, leave management and benefits events.
• Work with external vendors for employee gifts and milestones, managing budgets and delivery.
• Support training and development programs, both in‑house and off‑site.
• Manage the company’s social‑media platforms by creating engaging content.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management (preferred).
• Around 1 year of relevant experience or strong entry‑level potential.
• Knowledge of personnel administration principles.
• Fluent in Nepali and English, both oral and written.
• Proficient with email, scheduling and office applications.
• Experience with online HRMS tools.
