Pharmacist Subject Matter Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a remote, hourly contractor to serve as a Pharmacist Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this role you will evaluate AI‑generated medication and pharmacy content, ensure clinical accuracy, and provide high‑quality feedback that improves the safety and reliability of AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts and gold‑standard pharmacy responses covering therapeutics, drug information, counseling, and medication safety.
• Review, rank, and critique AI‑generated answers for correctness, clarity, safety, and adherence to clinical guidelines.
• Identify and document errors in dosing, contraindications, drug interactions, monitoring, and patient counseling.
• Fact‑check medical and drug information and write clear explanations that demonstrate proper clinical reasoning.
• Test AI outputs for bias, unsafe recommendations, and reliability across diverse patient populations.

Required profile

• PharmD, BPharm or MPharm with an active pharmacist license (or eligibility).
• Minimum 5 years of professional pharmacy experience in any practice setting (community, hospital, ambulatory, managed care, etc.).
• Strong expertise in pharmacology, therapeutics, medication safety, and clinical reasoning.
• Excellent attention to detail for fact‑checking drug content and identifying unsafe assumptions.
• Proficient English (minimum C1 level).
