Sales and Business Development Officer

About the role

RB Merchant Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated Sales and Business Development Officer to join its Kathmandu office. The role focuses on expanding the company’s presence in the healthcare technology sector, supporting client acquisition, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential clients and support outreach activities.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, and pricing or financial documents.
• Maintain and update sales pipelines and CRM tracking tools.
• Conduct market research and analyse sales data to inform strategy.
• Communicate regularly with prospective and existing clients, responding to inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver on‑site meetings, events, and product demonstrations.
• Generate reports on business development activities and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Strong interest and foundational skills in new business development, lead generation, and prospecting.
• Analytical mindset with basic finance knowledge for market data interpretation and pricing support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on long‑term relationship building.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience in healthcare or medical‑technology sales is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, Gemini).
• Comfort working with digital tools and CRM systems.
