Sales Officer – Heavy Equipment

About the role

The company is seeking a proactive Sales Officer to drive business growth for heavy equipment in the Itahari region. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering tailored equipment solutions and ensuring a seamless sales process from quotation to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to meet assigned sales targets.
• Conduct customer visits and site inspections to generate leads and understand requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, offering suitable equipment solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate within approved guidelines, and follow up until order confirmation.
• Coordinate with finance, service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular sales reports.
• Ensure timely collection of customer payments in coordination with the finance department.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in heavy equipment, construction machinery, trucks, tippers, commercial vehicles, or the cement industry.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment products and market dynamics is an advantage.
• Valid driving license with willingness to travel extensively for field visits.

Required skills
