Senior Sales Executive – FMCG (Franchise & HORECA)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Executive to lead the expansion of our franchise network and drive FMCG sales across Kathmandu. The role focuses on building relationships with franchise partners, overseeing HORECA and institutional accounts, and ensuring consistent brand execution in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate with and onboard new franchise partners in targeted locations.
• Visit franchise outlets regularly to monitor sales, inventory, merchandising and overall performance.
• Maintain optimal product availability and inventory levels at all franchise sites.
• Implement visual merchandising, pricing, promotional and branding standards consistently.
• Train franchise owners and staff on store operations, product knowledge and POS systems.
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement and logistics to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Track sales performance, KPIs, market trends and competitor activities to uncover growth opportunities.
• Prepare periodic sales reports and provide market insights to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field (MBA or sales specialization is a plus).
• 3–4 years of sales experience in FMCG, retail, distribution or agribusiness, preferably in rural or semi‑urban markets.
• Proven ability in relationship management, negotiation and sales planning.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
• Independent, target‑driven and committed to ethical, customer‑focused practices.

Required skills

• Experience with POS systems and in‑store merchandising.
