Senior Sales Officer – Machinery

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Senior Sales Officer to lead sales and business development for our machine segment. The role focuses on expanding our customer base across heavy equipment, construction machinery, and commercial vehicle markets.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for machinery products.
• Identify, approach, and develop new customers, contractors, fleet owners, dealers and business accounts.
• Generate and follow up on leads through market visits and networking.
• Understand client requirements, present suitable machines, prepare quotations, negotiate and close deals.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing and customer needs.
• Coordinate with Service, Spare Parts, Finance and other departments to ensure seamless customer support.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date sales pipeline and provide regular reports to management.
• Support after‑sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in heavy equipment, construction machinery, automobile, commercial vehicle or B2B sales.
• Prior experience in machine or heavy‑equipment sales is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Good market knowledge and business‑development capabilities.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and market visits.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and proactive.
