SEO Intern

About the role

The SEO Intern will join OneCom’s digital marketing team in Kathmandu on a contract basis. This hands‑on position offers the chance to work with real clients, apply SEO best practices, and gain practical experience with industry‑standard tools.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research to uncover organic growth opportunities.
• Perform basic SEO audits and identify technical or content issues.
• Support on‑page optimization, including meta tags, headings, and content structure.
• Monitor web analytics, track performance metrics, and prepare traffic and ranking reports.
• Assist with link‑building activities under senior guidance.
• Collaborate with the broader digital marketing team to implement visibility strategies.

Required profile

• Educational background in marketing, IT, communications or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors and current SEO trends.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively on‑site.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
