Service Engineer – Automobile Division

About the role

We are looking for a competent Service Engineer to join our Automobile Division, responsible for both workshop and field service across Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dang. The role involves diagnosing vehicle issues, performing repairs, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and technical problems in vehicles.
• Carry out servicing, preventive maintenance and major repairs following manufacturer standards.
• Respond to customer complaints and provide timely technical solutions.
• Conduct field visits for breakdowns, inspections and technical support.
• Supervise technicians, monitor service quality and ensure SOP compliance.
• Prepare job cards, service reports and other technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Service, Parts and Customer Support teams for smooth after‑sales operations.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automobile service, preferably in an authorized dealership.
• Strong practical knowledge of vehicle systems and modern diagnostic tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and customer‑handling skills.
• Valid two‑wheeler driving licence and willingness to travel for field service.
