Software Engineer III – .NET & Angular

About the role

Verisk is seeking a talented Software Engineer III to design and develop high‑performance, cloud‑based applications. You will work on large‑scale production systems, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and support existing services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement .NET libraries, APIs, and services using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Build and maintain front‑end features with Angular and related JavaScript technologies.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure and code‑base pain points, ensuring high quality and maintainability.
• Write automated unit tests (NUnit) and follow clean‑code principles.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience with .NET technologies and Angular.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and RESTful API development.
• Proficiency in SQL Server or PostgreSQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
