Ticketing Sales Specialist – Amadeus GDS Expert

About the role

Hop Nepal is seeking a proactive Ticketing Sales Specialist to manage domestic and international flight bookings end‑to‑end. You will convert inquiries into confirmed tickets, ensure accurate issuance, and maintain strong customer relationships while driving sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Convert flight inquiries into confirmed bookings through confident phone calls and structured follow‑ups.
• Handle objections related to fares, baggage, dates, stopovers and airline rules, and close sales professionally.
• Book, issue, re‑issue, refund, cancel and reschedule tickets using Amadeus/Galileo GDS for international routes.
• Maintain precise passenger details and ensure error‑free ticket issuance.
• Build and nurture relationships with ticketing and travel agencies, coordinate joint deals and urgent ticketing support.
• Suggest value‑adding options such as flexible fares, better routes, baggage and seat upgrades to improve conversion.

Required profile

• 2–4 years proven experience in travel sales and ticketing (both domestic and international).
• Strong communication skills with a focus on phone outreach and diligent follow‑up documentation.
• Ability to think creatively, propose solutions and adapt quickly to changing situations.
