Ticketing Specialist (Amadeus Expert)

About the role

Hop Nepal is seeking a Ticketing Specialist with deep expertise in the Amadeus GDS to manage end‑to‑end flight ticket sales for both domestic and international itineraries. The role combines proactive sales calling, accurate ticket issuance, and post‑sale support to turn inquiries into confirmed bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Convert inbound inquiries into confirmed tickets through confident phone calls, structured follow‑ups and objection handling.
• Book, issue, re‑issue, refund, cancel and reschedule tickets using Amadeus (and Galileo) while ensuring compliance with airline policies.
• Maintain detailed notes and follow‑up documentation to guarantee no lead is missed.
• Develop and propose value‑adding options such as flexible fares, seat upgrades or baggage solutions to improve conversion rates.
• Build and nurture relationships with ticketing agencies and travel partners, coordinating group bookings and urgent support.

Required profile

• 2–4 years proven experience in travel sales and ticketing (domestic and international).
• Strong phone etiquette and ability to handle objections professionally.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accurate passenger and ticket data.
• Proactive mindset, capable of generating ideas to increase sales and improve processes.

Required skills

• Expert use of Amadeus GDS (including Galileo).
