Vendor Management Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Vendor Management Officer to lead the sourcing, onboarding and ongoing management of our suppliers and service providers. The role ensures that all vendor relationships deliver high quality, cost‑effective and timely goods and services while aligning with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors based on quality, cost, reliability, and compliance standards
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, service‑level agreements (SLAs) and terms & conditions
• Monitor vendor performance against KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and vendors
• Ensure timely delivery of products and services according to agreed schedules
• Resolve vendor‑related issues, disputes and performance gaps
• Conduct periodic vendor reviews, audits and performance evaluations
• Maintain accurate vendor records, contracts and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and ethical standards
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, finance, operations and legal
• Manage vendor risks and develop mitigation strategies

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field
• Proven experience in vendor management, procurement or supply chain operations
• Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑management abilities
• Ability to analyse vendor performance and financial data
• Knowledge of contract management and compliance processes
• Proficiency with MS Office and vendor‑management or ERP systems
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational capabilities
