Workshop Incharge – 2-Wheeler Service

About the role

The Workshop Incharge will lead the 2‑wheelers after‑sales service department, ensuring smooth daily operations, timely vehicle delivery and high customer satisfaction. You will coordinate technicians, manage resources and uphold quality standards across all repair activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily workshop workflow and allocate jobs to technicians based on skill and workload.
• Monitor repair progress, ensure timely completion and conduct final vehicle inspections before delivery.
• Maintain quality standards, minimize rework, and handle technical escalations.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors, Parts, Warranty, Billing and other support teams.
• Ensure availability of spare parts, tools and equipment; uphold workshop cleanliness, safety and 5S practices.
• Track technician productivity, attendance and discipline.
• Prepare daily and periodic performance reports and support revenue and productivity targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in 2‑wheeler service or workshop operations, preferably in an authorized dealership.
• Strong knowledge of 2‑wheeler mechanical, electrical and diagnostic systems.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and team‑handling abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple workshop activities simultaneously.
