Account Executive

About the role

The Account Executive will support day‑to‑day accounting and financial operations, maintain accurate records, ensure timely transactions and reconciliations, and help compliance with company policies and tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, and payment records.
• Prepare and maintain vouchers, ledgers, statements, and supporting documents.
• Perform regular bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Support VAT, TDS, tax documentation, and other statutory requirements.
• Verify invoices, bills, expenses, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Enter and update financial data accurately in accounting software/ERP systems.
• Assist in budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost‑control activities.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documents and information.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, TDS, and taxation.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems.
