AI-Assisted Developer for SMB Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an AI‑Assisted Developer to create fast, practical, and reliable software tools for small‑ and medium‑size business clients. The role blends AI‑driven coding assistance with full‑stack development, allowing you to deliver scoped solutions efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Build small, scoped software tools and workflow solutions using AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Officer during requirements‑gathering to understand client workflows, assess feasibility, and define clear technical specifications.
• Develop and integrate front‑end, back‑end, database, API, and other components required for each project.
• Review, test, debug, and improve AI‑generated code, identifying security issues, edge cases, and potential failures before deployment.
• Deploy applications to production, handling basic hosting, environment setup, and simple CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare concise handover documentation and explain completed solutions to non‑technical clients.
• Identify practical automation opportunities within SMB workflows and contribute to process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience delivering software using AI‑assisted coding tools.
• Strong full‑stack development background with ability to work across multiple technology stacks.
• Excellent problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and code‑review skills.
• Ability to translate business workflows into accurately scoped technical solutions.
• Clear communication skills, especially when explaining technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
