Area Service Engineer

About the role

The Area Service Engineer oversees the performance and compliance of all authorized service centers within a defined region. The role ensures high service quality, technical support, and customer satisfaction while maintaining alignment with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations of authorized service centers across the region.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify compliance with policies, processes, and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support to service technicians and workshop teams.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and escalate critical issues when needed.
• Collaborate with service center managers to boost productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage spare‑parts availability and coordinate with internal departments to minimise downtime.
• Perform service audits, prepare inspection reports, and recommend improvements.
• Organise technical training and skill‑development programmes for centre technicians.
• Oversee warranty claim processes and ensure adherence to warranty policies.
• Analyse service performance data, identify improvement opportunities, and report to management.
• Maintain communication on service updates, technical bulletins, and new product information.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and workshops remain clean and organised.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in automobile service operations or workshop management.
• Experience with authorized service networks is preferred.
• Valid two‑wheeler driving licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
