Area Service Engineer

About the role

The Area Service Engineer oversees the performance of all authorized service centers within a designated region. The role ensures consistent service quality, technical support, and operational efficiency while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations of authorized service centers and conduct regular on‑site visits.
• Verify compliance with company policies, service processes, and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support to workshop teams.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and escalate critical issues when needed.
• Coordinate with center managers to boost productivity, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage spare‑parts availability and minimize downtime.
• Conduct service audits, prepare inspection reports, and recommend improvements.
• Organise technical training and skill‑development programs for technicians.
• Oversee warranty claim processes and ensure policy compliance.
• Analyse service performance data and submit periodic reports to management.
• Maintain clear communication on service updates, technical bulletins, and new product information.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and workshops remain clean and organized.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in automobile service operations or workshop management.
• Experience with authorized service networks is preferred.
• Valid two‑wheeler driving licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
