Assistant Account Manager

About the role

Garud Securities is seeking a competent and detail‑oriented Assistant Account Manager to support its finance and accounting operations. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate tax and statutory filings.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and review daily accounting and bookkeeping activities for the company and its clients.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.
• Perform bank, ledger, receivable, payable and other account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, cash‑flow forecasts and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax calculations, VAT, TDS and statutory filings.
• Coordinate with clients, auditors, banks and other stakeholders on finance matters.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing, audit requirements and audit schedule preparation.
• Review work of finance team members, providing guidance to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain effective internal controls, accounting procedures and proper documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and accounting automation.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience (36 months indicated).
• Detail‑oriented and competent in handling financial data.
