Beverage Operations Supervisor – Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, customer‑focused Beverage Operations Supervisor to lead daily beverage service across high‑volume hospitality venues such as hotels, resorts and fine‑dining restaurants. The role oversees bars, lounges, room service and banquet beverage operations, driving profitability while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of beverage operations, including bars, lounges, room service, and banquets.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate beverage staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and service standards across all beverage outlets.
• Manage beverage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and optimize margins.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely deliveries.
• Oversee proper storage, handling, and sanitation of all beverage products and equipment.
• Analyze sales reports, track KPIs (e.g., pour cost, wastage, labor efficiency), and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
• Develop and execute seasonal menus, promotions, and staff training programs.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and escalate critical issues to management.
• Prepare and present daily/weekly operational and financial reports to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in beverage operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role within a luxury hotel, resort, or upscale restaurant.
• Proven expertise in bar operations, inventory control, cost management, and P&L oversight.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast, Micros, and SevenRooms.
