Field Engineer – EV Battery Swapping Network

About the role

Gogoro is looking for a dedicated Field Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of its electric‑vehicle battery swapping network across the Kathmandu Valley. The role involves ensuring stations remain reliable, safe, and performant through regular upkeep and rapid response to breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on battery swapping stations.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and restore station operation promptly.
• Replace faulty components, conduct functional testing, and verify performance.
• Collect warranty evidence and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed service records, maintenance reports, and inspection logs.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
