Front‑of‑House Host/Hostess (Full‑time)

About the role

Roadhouse Group is looking for a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join its Kathmandu restaurant team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth flow throughout the dining area.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and manage the waiting list.
• Coordinate seating to optimise table turnover and guest flow.
• Handle reservations, answer phone inquiries professionally, and provide accurate information about menus, specials and services.
• Work closely with serving staff and management to support service delivery and respond to guest requests.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming entrance and reception area in line with brand standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service mindset with the ability to create a positive guest experience.
• Excellent communication and phone etiquette.
• Experience in reservations management, waiting‑list coordination and basic host‑station procedures.
• Calm and organised during busy periods, with good attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Previous front‑of‑house hospitality experience preferred.
• Basic English proficiency; additional local language skills are a plus.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance, reliability and a team‑oriented attitude.
