High School Science Teacher

About the role

Rosebud School is looking for a passionate and qualified High School Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to Grades 9 and 10. The role focuses on creating a student‑centered learning environment that encourages scientific inquiry and critical thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Science lessons for Grades 9 and 10.
• Develop engaging and innovative teaching strategies and learning activities.
• Conduct tests, quizzes, assignments, practical activities, and other assessments.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of students' academic progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students.
• Encourage critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and active participation.
• Integrate appropriate educational technologies and digital resources into teaching.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators to support interdisciplinary learning.
• Participate in school activities, professional development, and training programs.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of teaching experience with Grades 9‑10.
• Passionate, qualified, and dedicated to student learning.
