Housekeeping Intern – Full‑time On‑site

About the role

The Housekeeping Intern will join the housekeeping team at The Soaltee Resort in Budhanilkantha, supporting daily operations to keep guest rooms and public areas clean, organized and ready for guests. This full‑time, on‑site internship provides hands‑on training in hotel housekeeping standards, hygiene and safety practices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning and tidying guest rooms, ensuring they meet the resort’s quality standards.
• Replenish amenities, linen and supplies in rooms and public areas.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the appropriate department.
• Maintain tidy and safe corridors, lobbies and other common spaces.
• Support laundry operations and inventory management as needed.
• Apply hygiene and safety procedures, using cleaning equipment and protective gear correctly.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and professionally.

Required profile

• Ability to perform basic housekeeping tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to hygiene and safety standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for guest interaction and team collaboration.
• Customer‑service mindset, reliability and a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions and adapt to a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Basic educational background; prior exposure to hospitality is a plus.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, move between floors and perform light lifting.
• Respect for diversity and an inclusive attitude toward guests and colleagues.
