IT Officer – IT Support & Graphic Design

About the role

The NRNA Secretariat seeks a motivated IT Officer who will combine technical support with graphic‑design expertise to maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure and visual communications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical support for computers, printers, software and peripherals; manage user accounts and IT assets.
• Maintain LAN, Wi‑Fi, routers and switches; coordinate with ISPs and vendors.
• Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and virtual meeting platforms.
• Administer WordPress sites, update content and monitor basic performance.
• Assist MIS/ Membership system with data entry, validation and reporting.
• Create and maintain graphic materials such as banners, posters, certificates, social‑media graphics and presentation templates.
• Produce basic digital content, edit photos, and support simple video graphics for events.
• Provide technical support for conferences, live‑streaming and event‑related digital displays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Graphic Design or related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in IT support and/or graphic design.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure during events.

Required skills

• Windows troubleshooting, hardware/software installation, IT asset management.
• LAN/Wi‑Fi/network troubleshooting.
• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• WordPress/CMS administration.
• Basic database/MIS knowledge and data‑validation.
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Canva or equivalent design tools.
• PowerPoint presentation design, social‑media graphics, banner/poster design.
• Photo and video editing, basic typography and layout.
