Junior Civil Engineer

About the role

The Junior Civil Engineer will support day‑to‑day site execution, supervision, layout works, documentation, quality checking and coordination with the site team. The role works closely with senior engineers to ensure smooth execution of structural, architectural and finishing works on building projects. It is suitable for motivated fresh graduates seeking practical site experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in daily supervision of site work.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Carry out basic setting‑out works such as centerline marking, level checking and brick layout lines.
• Measure material quantities, perform take‑offs and prepare measurement sheets.
• Participate in quality checking for concrete, reinforcement, formwork, masonry, plastering and finishing works.
• Maintain site‑related documents, checklists, DPRs and other records.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, contractors and labor teams to ensure timely execution.
• Assist in verifying drawings and interpreting details under senior engineer guidance.
• Collaborate with surveyors for layout accuracy and site levels when required.
• Ensure site safety protocols and housekeeping standards are followed.
