Store Manager

About the role

The Store Manager will oversee daily store operations for Lanco Buildtech, ensuring timely receipt and issuance of construction materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating with procurement and logistics teams. This role demands strong attention to detail, adherence to company standards, and the ability to manage both physical and system inventories efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily store activities, enforce store discipline, and manage staff.
• Handle Goods Received Notes (GRN), verify material quality and quantity, and update system entries.
• Maintain accurate physical and system inventory records with daily stock updates.
• Conduct routine stock reconciliations and report discrepancies.
• Monitor mesh usage, manage site materials, and control expenses within approved budgets.
• Manage petty cash, keep transparent expense records, and submit proper documentation.
• Prepare material requisitions, coordinate with procurement for timely supply, and verify purchase orders.
• Monitor stock levels, assist in forecasting material requirements, and implement FIFO/FEFO storage practices.
• Enforce strict control to prevent material loss, misplacement, or misuse during site inspections.
• Issue safety items, PPE, and tools while ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and company policies.
• Prepare and submit regular inventory reports and maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment.
• Assist during internal and external audits by providing required reports and documents.
