Junior Data Engineer (ETL)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our data team. You will support the design, development, and maintenance of ETL workflows and data pipelines, working closely with senior engineers and business intelligence specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining ETL pipelines using SQL Server, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Support data storage, retrieval, and basic database maintenance in SQL Server environments.
• Work with various data sources and file formats such as CSV, JSON, XML, and Parquet.
• Collaborate with BI teams to develop and maintain reporting solutions.
• Monitor pipelines, troubleshoot data quality and integration issues, and document processes.
• Provide automation and data manipulation support using Python.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in data engineering, ETL, or database development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work collaboratively.
