Lab Technician

About the role

National Path Labs and Research Center is looking for a detail‑oriented Lab Technician to carry out hands‑on tests, support experiments and keep laboratory equipment running smoothly in its Pokhara facility. The role ensures accurate technical reporting, compliance with statutory requirements and efficient daily laboratory operations within the health research sector.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily laboratory activities and support experimental work.
• Maintain effective functioning of all lab equipment and instruments.
• Perform regular inspection, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of instruments.
• Coordinate repairs or replacements to ensure optimal operation.
• Document and record test results, processes and related data accurately.
• Store test records and patient information following established protocols.
• Support quality control processes and uphold high‑quality analytical standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for pre‑analytic, analytic and post‑analytic phases.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with at least one year of laboratory experience.
• Strong commitment to accurate technical reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with laboratory staff and maintain organized workflows.
• Respect for patient confidentiality and data protection policies.
