Lifeguard – Pool Safety & Emergency Response

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, alert and physically fit Lifeguard to join our recreation team in Kathmandu. The role ensures the safety and cleanliness of our swimming facilities and provides immediate medical assistance as part of the Medical Emergency Response Team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily cleanliness of the swimming pool, jacuzzi and baby pool, including pool furniture and surrounding areas.
• Monitor pool equipment, pump house and chemical balance to ensure safe operation.
• Continuously watch swimmers, enforce pool rules and safety regulations, and supervise the toddler/family pool.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, provide first aid and CPR, and coordinate with emergency medical services.
• Complete incident reports and documentation as required.

Required profile

• Responsible, alert, physically fit and dedicated.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate courteously with pool users.
• Willingness to act as a member of the Medical Emergency Response Team.

Required skills

• First aid certification.
• CPR training.
• Pool equipment monitoring.
• Chemical balance management.
