Odoo Specialist – E‑commerce ERP Implementation

About the role

The company is seeking an Odoo Specialist to lead and support ERP initiatives for its e‑commerce operations in Kathmandu. The role involves coordinating customisation projects, aligning business processes with Odoo modules, and ensuring seamless integration across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ongoing Odoo customisation projects with software developers and relevant departments.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications, workflows, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure correct treatment of sales, purchases, POS, inventory, payments and returns.
• Manage and support Odoo modules including POS, Accounting, Inventory, Sales, CRM and E‑Commerce.
• Analyse and standardise business processes across stores and identify automation opportunities.
• Review customisations, conduct functional testing and UAT, identify issues and coordinate corrections with developers.
• Ensure proper integration and data flow between POS, Sales, Inventory, Purchase, Accounting, CRM and E‑Commerce.
• Support data migration, master‑data management, reporting, dashboards and MIS requirements.
• Train users, provide functional support and promote ERP adoption and process compliance.
• Maintain functional documentation, change records and system improvement plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems or a related field.
• 2–4 years of practical experience in Odoo/ERP implementation, administration, functional consulting or business process management.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo modules such as POS, Accounting, Inventory, Sales, CRM and E‑Commerce.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, retail operations and ERP workflows.
• Experience coordinating with software developers on ERP customisation is highly preferred.
• Background in retail, automobile, hospitality, trading/distribution or IT is an advantage.
